D. Laurence Armstrong

Laurie recently retired after a distinguished 39 year legal career in Victoria, B.C. He practiced primarily as a litigator, often opposing various levels of government. He practiced at all levels of the B.C. and Federal Courts as well as before various federal and provincial tribunals.

Throughout his career, Laurie has built a fleet of wooden boats, both sail and power. He is currently passing on his skills to 12 - 14 year old Sea Scouts in a hands-on boat building project.

Peter has a stellar career in strategic business advising and consulting including being the managing partner of Grant Thornton in Victoria, BC.

Peter has also served as the Chair of Board of Governors of Camosun College and the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre in Sidney, BC. He is currently a public member on the Board of the BC Law Society.
